Hello, I’m Clare

I’m an award winning comedy maker living in Naarm/Melbourne.

I’ve worked in film and TV development in New York and Los Angeles. I trained under John Milhiser (Saturday Night Live) at Amy Poehler’s comedy school Upright Citizens Brigade.

Liz Lemon told me that I can do it, I can have it all, so here’s what I’m currently working on:

• I’m writing the sequel to my live comedy show Jason Statham, I Love You.
  The show is inside a train carriage on top of a building & you’ll be able to buy tickets soon.
• I’m writing a TV show about two best friends who decide to have a baby together through sperm donation. The only problem? They both want to be The Cool Mum. (They could totally take the baby to the club, right?)
• I’m writing a mockumentary about a dysfunctional group of theatre makers determined to make the best play in the world.
• I’m writing a comedy show with composer Ned Dixon about an intergenerational European YachtRock band The Broken Hill Family Band.
• I create new characters on instagram every week. You can meet them here.
